Nationalities Service Center and Short Stack Productions, a Villanova University Documentary Class Present: Me Sha

movie-screening

Join Nationalities Service Center and Short Stack Productions, a Villanova University Documentary Class for a screening of Meh Sha, a documentary written, directed and produced by a dedicated group of undergraduate students at Villanova University. Meh Sha tells the story of the struggles of a 17 year old Burmese refugee living in South Philadelphia.  Meh Sha Lin has lost his father to violence in the Mae La refugee camp across the Thai border, where his brother remains trapped, unable to join the rest of his family in America.  He also fights everyday to overcome his limited education and works to help provide for his family, even at such a young age.  We think his story is an important one, and would like to share it with the world.
