1. Volunteer your own foreign language skills with NSC to help at your local courthouse, hospital, fire/police department, school or community center.  Written translation and/or oral interpretation is desperately needed in many situations.
2. Drive a refugee to medical appointments or to job interviews.
3. Offer to take a refugee with you to your next sports event, concert or movie.
4. Take a refugee to your local library and help him or her get a library card.
5. If you are a CPA, help refugees prepare their taxes.
6. Volunteer to teach an English as a Second Language Class.  NSC is always looking for volunteer teachers for our ESL classes.
7. Offer to teach computer class to refugees.
8. Donate old computers to refugees.
9. Donate clothes, furniture or items that might be useful for refugees.
10. Take a refugee family on a picnic to a state park or recreation center.
11. Contribute to NSC's Immigration and Refugee Services Department
12. Write your congressional representative in support of refugee programs.
