Legal Services Department

The mission of the NSC's Legal Services Department is to provide high-quality immigration legal services to low-moderate income immigrants in the greater Philadelphia area. We represent immigrants who have cases before the INS or in Immigration Court.

NSC represents people in the following kinds of cases:

  • Family Sponsorship
  • Political Asylum
  • Deportation Defense
  • Naturalization
  • Application for Permanent Resident (green) cards
  • Work Permits
  • Travel Documents
  • VAWA Cases (for abused spouses)

The process
All new cases begin with an in-depth consultation. The consultation is an opportunity to get answers to questions about the law, your immigration status, and eligibility for immigration benefits. Consultations are confidential and private. All cases are handled by experienced lawyers or immigration representatives. We charge modest fees for our services. The fees are based on family size and income.
